Every inspection we perform comes with an extensive digital report along with a complete set of photographs. The report will give the full details, broken down clearly, and the photographs will back up and enhance it so that the client has total visibility of the aircraft with very few outstanding questions. If there are any, we can answer them quickly and add these to the report.

Due to the quality of our photographs, the files we send are much larger so the client would need to use a suitable platform for them to be securely transferred. We recommend platforms such as Dropbox, Box or WeTransfer, all of which are free and secure.

In the past, we have used all these platforms, but the one we have used the most is Box. The advantage of Box is you can create a folder for the specific aircraft with several sub-folders to hold all the required digital data on that aircraft including technical records, inspections, major component records and of course digital reports.

As the report is digital, it can be stored easily and sent by the client to whomever they wish. It is easily accessible to allow different perspectives and important feedback. It is also easily adaptable and can be used alongside graphs, tables, and technical drawings, which will provide breadth and dimension to the inspection report, making it as thorough as possible.

Taking pictures is a vital part of the inspection process as it allows a more thorough investigation. However, you don’t want to photograph every single part or component as going through endless files will slow down the process. Over the years we have photographed thousands of planes and have come up with the most efficient method, documenting only what is needed and at the most optimal angle.
